Biography

When John Reed was born on December 21, 1836, in Sandusky, Ohio, his father,George Reed, was 30 and his mother, Elizabeth Obermayer, was 23. He married 1st Sarah Ann Lattig and they had six children together. He then married 2nd Mary Ellen Overmyer on March 15, 1869, in Jackson, Ohio. He died on April 28, 1895, in Lindsey, Ohio, at the age of 58, and was buried in Fremont, Ohio.
