Biography

Barbara (Reulen) Dominick has German Roots.

Barbara was baptized on 13 Mar 1721 in Machtolsheim. She was the daughter of Andreas Reulen and Waldburga.[1]

Barbara Reylen (daughter of the late farmer Andreas Reylen) married Andreas Dominik (son of Andreas Dominik) on 22 Apr 1752 in Machtolsheim.[2]

According to Gerber, they married "with hastened procedure, omitting banns with magisterial permission, on account of rapid departure for America."

They had the following children:

  • Waldburga, born 24 July 1751,
  • Andrew, born abt. 1754, died 2 May 1817,
  • Henry, born 5 May 1757, died 1 Jan 1836,
  • Frederick
  • John, born abt. 1768, died about Oct 1847.
