Thank you to Peter Thorn for creating WikiTree profile Reves-19 through the import of Thorn.ged on May 15, 2013. Click to the Changes page for the details of edits by Peter and others.
Reves-19 and Ryves-17 appear to represent the same person because: Same children, Joan and Robert with some errors. All 3 profiles would need to be merged, and are otherwise unconnected. Please merge into all details in Ryves-17, which as already been confirmed as the correct LNAB. Thanks for reviewing.
I've only seen the ee spelling in America. My own rule that I follow is daughter's maiden name (LNAB) and wife's married name must match the father/husband because that is where they get theirs from. A son can change the spelling if the change is passed down his line.
The direction of the merge has to go into the PPP. It can be changed when necessary but I'd be against that for these Ryves profiles as the other profile's manager created duplicates without sources and should not become PM of a PPP from that. I recommend to let him approve his side first or let it time out to ensure the best result.
Reeves-1860 and Ryves-17 appear to represent the same person because: Same person, parents and husband , different spellings,
I think though that the children on Reeves-1860 are correct (compare with bio for Ryves-17) as is the death date.
Hutchins gives a death date of 5th August 1591 for her husband John
His will written 17 Feb 1590/1 doesn't mention a living wife so before February seems right.
