Laodice's WW1 draft card listed his birth as January 13, 1880. His WW2 draft card listed his birth as January 13, 1885. His death certificate listed his birth as January 13, 1883. His obituary listed his birth as January 3, 1883. [1]

In 1900, Laodice, called Lasdis (age 18) lived in Queue Tortue, Vermilion Parish, LA with his parents, Alcide, transcribed as Aterde (age 48), and Elodie (age 46) Richard, and siblings, Eve (age 20), Emediste, called Emidis (age 17), Cleophas, called Clopire (age 14), Eugenie, called Eugene (age 12), Anaise, called Anmese (age 10), ad Amedy, called Emidy (age 8). 1910 Census:
In 1910, Laodice, called Laodia (age 27) lived in ward 8, Lafayette, LA with his wife, called Marie M. (age 26), and children, Edia (age 6), Dulpha, called Duffey (age 5), Alphey (age 4), Hilda, called Edda (age 3), Alce, called Alcie (age 0), and a cousin, Marie H. Esse (age 13). Laodice worked as a farmer. [4]
WW1 Draft:
On September 12, 1918, Laodice, called Laodise (age 38) registered for the WW1 draft in Crowley, Acadia Parish, LA. Laodice indicated that he was a farmer from Morse, Acadia Parish, LA. [8]
1920 Census:
In 1920, Laodice, called Lowdrie (age 38) lived in ward 5, Acadia Parish, LA with his wife Marie N. (age 39) and children, Edia N. (age 16), Joseph D. (age 15), Alphe (age 14), Hilda (age 12), Alce (age 10), Arthe (age 9), Ida (age 7), age Ophe (age 4). Laodice worked as a rice farmer. [5]
1930 Census:
In 1930, Laodice, called Lonodise (age 48) lived in ward 6, Acadia Parish, LA with his wife, called Mary D. (age 49), and children, Hilda, called Edah (age 15), Ophe, called Offa (age 13), Lucia (age 9), Lucille, called Luceed (age 8), Elia, called Eddiah (age 8), Advie, called Advahe (age 6),and Jean Nolan, called Nollan (age 5). Laodice worked as a cotton farmer. [6]

WW2 Draft:
On April 30, 1942, Laodice registered for the WW2 draft in Acadia Parish, LA. Laodice was described as 5'10", 180 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. Laodice indicated that he worked on the farm of Camille Hanks in Morse, Acadia Parish, LA. [9]
Death:
Laodice died at age 74 on May 23, 1957 in Gueydan, Vermilion Parish, LA. His cause of death was arteriosclerosis. He was buried in Abshire Cemetery in Vermilion Parish, LA. [3][10]
