Almost nothing is known of this man except that he was the son of Deacon John Ricard and very likely his first wife, Hester D. (James) Rickard (although this is uncertain - his mother may have been Mary Snow Rickard but either her usually-assigned birth date of 1668 is wrong or she was very young to be a mother in 1681...
