Biography

Anna Ricketson was born in 1777, in Bridgetown, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, to Reverend Abednego Ricketson,Abednego Ricketson and Phebe Tucker. She married John Marshall on 17 October 1797, in Nova Scotia, British Colonial America. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 6 daughters. She died on 17 March 1853, in her hometown, at the age of 76, and was buried in Ricketson Cemetery, West Paradise, Annapolis, Nova Scotia.
