Bathsheba Ricketson was born on 2 July 1758, in Dartmouth, Bristol, Massachusetts, United States to Reverend Abednego Ricketson and Phebe Tucker . She married Robert Sproul Jr on 17 November 1778, in Granville Township, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 3 daughters. She died in 1800, in Granville Township, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada, at the age of 42.
