Biography

Matthew was born about 1780 the son of Matthew Ridge and Sus, and he was christened on the 2nd January 1780 in Alphington, Devon.^[1][2]

Matthew married Elizabeth Washer (~1777 - 1854) on the 30th March 1809 at Brampford Speke, Devon.^[3]

In the 1841 census Mathew (age 60) was in St Thomas The Apostle, Devon, England.^[4]
