Biography
Clara was the youngest child. She was one month old in the 1900 Census. Her parents were David Rawles Robe and Esther Ann Currey.[1]
Her father was a dairy farmer. In 1910 his father Washington was living as a close neighbor in Madison Township, Clark, Ohio.[2]
She was a college student, age 19 and single, living at home, in Madison, Clark, Ohio.[3] She was working towards an education degree at Ohio State University, which she received in 1920.[4]
Clara married Rev. Howard I. Pospesel, a Lutheran minister, between 1920 and 1930. They were living in Dayton, Ohio, in 1930. Howard was age 32, born in New York. His father was born in Austria and his mother in New York[5]
They were the parents of two sons and a daughter.[6]
