Lacy was born in 1847 to Benjamin Robertson and Margaret Brown.
She married James Vanslyke and their children were M.E. (girl), Mollie J., and Bud (James?).[1] After his death, she married Alexander Zane. Zane was a member of the Wyandot tribe. Their children were Noah, Isabelle, Oella, Julia, Henry and Pearl.
She died in 1923 of intestinal cancer. She is buried at Seneca Cemetery in Seneca, Missouri.[2][3][4]
Notes
Her name has appeared only one time as Tabitha on the 1860 census. Whether this was a mistake or a name she actually used is not known. Most often she is referred to as Lacy.
Ella's obit on FAG mentions a son that hasn't been found. Bud Van Sluke [sic] of Vinita, Oklahoma. Bud may be a nickname for James. James may not go here at all. Not sure how many VanSlyke children she had. But I believe 3-4 children with James, then 6 more with Alexander was what she had.
