Biography

John was born in 1848. He was the son of Jacob Rookstool and Lucinda Roper.

In 1850 he was 2 and living with parents and two siblings in Missouri. ^[1]

In 1860 he was 12 and living with parents and four siblings in Missouri. ^[2]

He married Rachel June Morris in 1871. ^[3]

In 1880 John and Rachael were living in Missouri with four children: Henry, Ellen, William and John Wesley. ^[4]

In 1900 he and Rachel were living in Missouri with three children: James, George and Millie. ^[5]

In 1910 they were living in Nebraska. It is still the family of five. ^[6]

Their son John married in 1912. They are both listed as his parents on the record. ^[7]

In 1920 they were living in Nebraska. It is just John and his wife Rachel. ^[8]

In 1930 they were living in Wyoming. ^[9]

John passed in 1931. ^[10]

Buried in Douglas Park Cemetery, Douglas, Wyoming. ^[11]

Their son John Wesley died in 1937. ^[12]
