Biography

Daniel was born on October 11, 1717. He was the son of Thomas Rowley and Violet Stedman. He married Eunice Brown 23 Jun 1736 in Windsor, Connecticut. They had the following known children between 1737 and 1758, born in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut:

  1. Daniel Rowley 1737–1741;
  2. David Rowley 1741–1741;
  3. Eunice Rowley 1742– (mar. 10 Mar. 1773, Isaac Burr.);
  4. Ann Rowley 1745– (mar. 1st Amos Burr by whom she had 8 children; mar. 2nd Thomas Shepard, by whom she had 8 children.
  5. Susannah Rowley 1746-24 Nov 1833[1]
  6. Olive Rowley 1749– (m. 29 Apr. 1772 Isaac Bartlett);
  7. Daniel Rowley 1751– (m. Phebe Spencer 23 Jan 1775);
  8. Hannah Rowley 1758– (mar. 20 Jan. 1780, Noadiah Burr, Jr.)

He died on March 18, 1798, in Connecticut having lived a long life of 80 years.
