George Rowling Sr was born about 1720. Records of the family are found under other spellings of Roland, Rollings, Rowlings, Rawlings, and even Rolan. However, the records for his children, including birth, primarily use the Rowland spelling.
His story is recounted in “DeHaven – Ward – Luke and Related Families”[1]
He married Rebecca Gordon about 1744. Children:
