Biography

Charles Abraham Roy, son of Joseph Roy (Roi) and Marguerite Bernard, was born 29 April 1795 and baptised 5 June 1795.^[1]

Rose Theriot and Charles Abraham Roy married on January 31, 1820 in Convent, St. James. ^[2]They had nine children. Charles died before 17 Nov. 1847, the date his succession was held at the Lafayette Parish Courthouse in Lafayette. ^[3]
