Marie-Modeste was born in 1809. She was the daughter of Pierre Roy dit Desjardins and Angélique Sirois.
Marie-Modeste married Remi Langlais dit Serien on 15 July 1823 in Kamouraska, Saint-Louis, Kamouraska, Quebec.[1]
Marie-Modeste passed away in 1881 in Notre-Dame-de-Liesse,Rivière- Ouelle,Kamouraska,QC[2]
