Catharina Ruchstein was born 3 Feb 1788 in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Maria and Frederick Ruchstein. She was baptized 08 June 1788 at Saint John's German Evangelical Lutheran Church in Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Her Sponsors were Catherina and Andreas Eichmeyer. She married Jacob Doll on 03 May 1804 in Northampton County (now Monroe County, Pennsylvania). and Jacob had 14 children, including:
