Hi Graeme, I see you have a Biddy Gidley in your family tree (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Gidley-157). Have you thought about uploading your DNA data to GEDmatch, would be interested in knowing if Biddy is my 3rd great-grandmother Tamson's sister? (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Gidley-224)

Kind regards Tony

Hi Graeme

The aka in the name fields is not the way to do it. It needs a single name as per the birth record if possible in the last name at birth field. If buried or living by another name that goes in present name. If neither put the alternatives in the other names box. separated by commas. This is to make searching work. Without the computer searches working the one tree becomes more difficult to achieve ;-)

So in your case it seems Rumler in last name at birth field then Rummler in present name field

I think this will then display correctly..

Thanks
