This profile is a passenger of the Empress of Ireland on May 29, 1914. He perished in the shipwreck.
In the 1901 census William (age 53), Winding Eingine Keeper, was the head of household at 9 Bogside Cottage, Cambusnethan, Lanarkshire.[1] In this census return is his daughter Catherine who later married William Parker. She is the daughter in the newspaper clipping (photo attached). I think Alexander Russell in the clipping is his brother.

Per his daughter Mary's birth record, his wife was Sarah McQueen, already deceased in 1911 per the census record of that year. Sarah McQueen died in 1887 in Scotland. Her mother's maiden name was Currie.
