Neva Drew Satterwhite b. 9 Dec 1937 m. 15 Aug 1959, Jerry Smith Stinson.
Obituary: Neva Drew Stinson, age 83, of Shady Grove passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at her home. Neva was born December 9, 1937 in Shady Grove to parents, Earl Adams Satterwhite and Edna Mollie Low Satterwhite. She was a homemaker with her family being her life. Neva was affectingly known as “Nina” to her grandchildren. Neva was a member of the Shady Grove First Baptist Church where she played the piano for many years.
Nina is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jerry Stinson of Shady Grove; children, Donnis Stinson and wife, Janet of Warren, Kevin Stinson of Shady Grove and fiancée, Susan Clark of Lufkin, Shonna Ashley and husband, Todd of Lumberton; grandchildren, Lane Stinson of Warren, Drew Vaughn and husband, Nathan of Warren, Lily Ashley of Lumberton, Shayne Ashley of Lumberton; great-granddaughter, Bonnie Vaughn; brother, Jamie Satterwhite of Katy; numerous other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by parents, Earl and Edna Satterwhite; brother, Ray Satterwhite.
Funeral services for Neva Drew Stinson will be held at 11:00 Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Dr. Charles Lowrey officiating. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
