ANTONIUS MICHAEL (VON) SCHICKH (1772 - 1816) was born in Germany. He was the son of JOANNES MICHAEL (VON) SCHICKH. His father could be the same Joannes Von Schickh who befriended Mozart and provided him with accommodation in his last years before his death. There seems to be a strong musical connection with the (Von) Schickh family. We meet Antonius next in London using the name Anthony Schickh, though the “h” was dropped as the years went on. The London Gentleman’s Gazette of …mentions Anthony Schick as a contemporary and associate of Beethoven when that great composer visited London in ……… He is listed as living at Salvador House in Bridestone Street..London. Salvador House was a mansion house which was demolished to make way for the—bank in the mid 1800’s. Did he own this house? There is no way to know. He died in London in 1816 and was buried 26 Apr 1816 in St Botulph without Bishopgate, age 44.[1]
Antonius Michael Von Schick, immigrated to London England about 1780 and became an English Citizen. He Married Catherine, aka ( Catherina ), Wilt the Daughter of a wine Merchant/ wig Maker his Name was John Wilt. Possibly of Dutch origin. [2]

In looking up various things the other day I came across a portrait of Johann Michael Freiherr Von Schickh. See Reference (Deutsch: Johann Michael Freiherr von Schickh (1726-1793), k. k. Beamter Lithographie von Friedrich Lieder, ca. 1830)
The dates fall into the time span of he being the father of Anton Schick. It is very likely that this may be the father of Anton Schick. Ellen - his daughter - makes a point of including the h on the end of the name, so it is fairly hopeful. There is also some paperwork which is his naturalization request put to Parliament by Lord Porland, where it states that he is the son of Johann Michael (Schickh) and his wife Rosalia. I am having trouble though finding anything of Rosalia. The date of his naturalization request was 1799. It says he was born in Vienna, but sadly no date is mentioned.
