Eva was born in October 28, 1727. She was the daughter of Jurg Michael Schweinhardt and Eleonor Eckert. Her birth was originally recorded as being in Bächlingen u. Steinkirchen, , Bächlingen u Steinkirchen, Württemberg, Deutschland. (Bächlingen, Bächlingen, Gerabronn, Württemberg, Deutschland).[1] Bächlingen is a very old settlement, dating back prior to 1140, when the name was first recorded. Today Bächlingen is located in the municipality of Langenburg, region of Landkreis Schwäbisch Hall within Regierungsbezirk Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. She married Ludwig Bickle (Pickle) September 24, 1751 in Upper Salford Township, Montgomery, Pennsylvania.[2][3] She passed away in 1812 and is buried in the New Hanover Lutheran Church Cemetery.[4][5] The English translation of the inscription on her gravestone reads:
Here rest the body of a fellow-sister named Barbara Bickel nee Schweinhard, wife of Ludwig Bickel She was born on the 28th of October 1727 and died on the 13th of March 1812, her age was 84 years 4 months and 13 days.
