Biography

Charles was born about 1766 in North Carolina, a British Colony at the time.

He is believed to be the son of Bartlett Searcy and Lucy Anderson. [citation needed]

Charles Searcy married Mary Morse on 19 Aug 1787 (date of bond) at Granville, North Carolina. Bondsmen were Charles Searcy and Thomas Ligon. [1]
