Biography

James Washington Sexton was born on 26 Jun 1847 in Grayson Co. Va, son of Harvey John Sexton (~1825 - >1910) and Rosamond Sexton (1823 - >1900). [1]

James married Mary Ellen Shaw (1845 - ~1881). Their children were:

  1. James Floyd Sexton (1871 - 1958)
  2. Jocie Ellen (Sexton) Bobbitt (1875 - 1954).

James died on 17 May 1917 in Alleghany, North Carolina, United States aged 69. [1]
