David Seymore was born November 17 1821 in Rhea County, Tenn. In 1880 he lived in Mexia, Texas and was married to Mattie Davis. In 1886 and 1888, David was on the Brown County Tax rolls David Pickle Seymore was half Indian, and according to Allie Woods, He died from consumption. David was a private in Captain Henry Lyons Company D of the 5 Regiment of the Texas Calvary. He was 6 ft. 2 inches high, dark complexion, black eyes, black hair, and by occupation he was a farmer
