Biography

According to The Genealogies of Weymouth, MA, pg 133, this Sarah wasn't the wife of Seth Turner. The Sarah who was Seth Turner's wife remarried in 1735.

WHOSE DAUGHTER WAS SARAH SHAW TURNER

• Sarah Shaw, the daughter of Nicholas Shaw and deborah Whitmarsh was christened May 1704, Weymouth, MA.^[1] This Sarah seems to have died earlier then 1735.

• Sarah Shaw, the daughter of Ebenezer Shaw and Hannah "Pratt" was born 15 February 1700/1701 in Weymouth, MA,. ^[1]

• The Genealogies of Weymouth, MA, page 133, has: Sarah (Shaw) Turner, widow of Seth Turner and daughter of Joseph and Sarah Shaw, born 6 December 1706. The marriage intention was filed 21 September 1735 with the widower Samuel Burrell.^[2] She married Seth Turner on 26 March 1720, he died 21 October 1730.^[3][4]
