Biography
Mary (Shenton) Batt was born in Kenn, Somerset, England.
Mary was born about 1765[1][2][3] in Kenn, Somerset.[2][3] She was baptized by Thomas Shenton and Mary March on 12 June 1770 in Yatton.[4] She married Henry Batt (bef.1762-bef.1837) in Yatton, Somerset on 7 May 1805.[5] They had three children baptized in Yatton.

The 1851 census lists her residence as Yatton.[2][3] She died during the December Quarter of 1853.[9][10] She was residing in a Long Ashton workhouse at the time of her death and was buried on 15 December 1853 in Yatton.[1]
