Jacob, born about 1835, was the son of John Sherk and Mary House. He married Sarah Ann Dennis in 1858.[1]
He was recorded in the Census of Canada West 1861 living in Walpole Township with Sarah Ann and their son, William. He worked as a miller.[2]
He died in 1931 and was buried at Cheapside Cemetery, Cheapside, Haldimand, Ontario.[3]
