Liza was born in 1845 in Arkansas. She was the daughter of William Sherman and Cynthia Fultz.
Elizabeth (Liza) was first married to John Aday who was killed in the Civil War. He was a member of the Arkansas Volunteer Cavalry. The date of his death was the 15th of January 1865. [1]
After the War, she married George W. Peters, the widower of her husband's sister.
She died in 1929 and is buried at Pope Cemetery in Graphic, Crawford County, Arkansas.[2][3]
