Biography
Norman Seth Shoaf was born on 9 September 1872 in Greenfield, Lackawannock Township, Mercer, Pennsylvania, United States. He was the son of James Sankey Shoaf (1839–1912) and Jane S Leyde (1838–1922).[1]
In the 1880 census Norman (age 7) was the son of James S. Shoaf in Greenfield, Lackawannock Township, Mercer, Pennsylvania, United States.[2]
Norman Seth Shoaf married Margaret "Madge" McFate on 25 August 1903, in New Castle, Lawrence, Pennsylvania..[3] They were the parents of:
- Leatha Adaline Shoaf (1904–1987)
Norman Seth Shoaf died after a long illness on 21 April 1906 at his mother's residence in New Bedford, City of New Castle, Lawrence, Pennsylvania, aged 33. He was buried in the Harbor Church Cemetery in New Castle, Lawrence, Pennsylvania.[4]
