Research Note
Jacob and his father, John Sigler Sr (abt.1769-1819) (often, in the conflations, listed as "John Jacob" perhaps in an attempt to fit him into the conflation,) are often conflated with Jacob Sigler (1794-abt.1867) and Jacob Sigler (abt.1768-abt.1808) of New Jersey. It is believed the two families may be connected, but what that connection is has not yet been determined.
