Biography
The early years
Mary Simpson was born in Bevier Township on the 21st of October 1872 to Avington Simpson and Sarah Posey.
Family Life
She married Edward Morris on the 3rd of June 1891 in Macon, Missouri[1] and they had:
- Gladine Morris(1892-1967)[2][3]
- Ruth Morris(1896-1988)[2][3][4]
- Virginia True Morris(1905-1986)[3][5]
- Lester Morris(1907-?)[3][5][6]

She died the 8th of october 1953 in Callao, Missouri and she would be buried at the Locus Grove Cemetery[8]
MRS. MARY MORRIS DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER IN CALLAO[9]
Mrs. Mary Morris, 81, died last evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William A. Grimshaw of Callao. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Methodist Church in Callao.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. Lee Lewis, pastor of the Bevier Baptist Church, where Mrs. Morris was a member. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Morris, daughter of Avington and Sarah Ann Posey Simpson, was born on October 21, 1872 in Bevier Township. She was married to Edward Morris, June 2, 1891, and they lived on a farm between Bevier and Callao for many years, moving to Callao in 1927. Mr. Morris preceded his wife in death in 1929.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ed (Gladine) Pillers, Mrs. Elbert (Ruth) Pillers and Mrs. William A. (True) Grimshaw, all of Callao; one son, Lester s. Morris, of Kansas City; 10 grandchildren; seven great grand-children and other relatives.
The body will lie in state at the perry and Edwards Funeral Home in callao until the funeral hour.
