Research Notes

No known documents linking William SIMPSON to the Charles SIMPSON who married Ann PUMMELL - However there was a Charles SIMPSON (a Book Seller not a gentleman) who had a son Charles Henry SIMPSON (b. 1824, bap. 1837 at St. Mary, Newington, Surrey)[12]

This family is living at St. Mary Newington, Surrey in 1841, but no William is living with them. Charles SIMPSON (40-44) Stationer, Ann SIMPSON (34), Charles SIMPSON (15-19) and in separate household James PUMMELL (14) [13]
