Biography

Some sources give William's birthplace as Georgetown, DC; others say Frederick, Maryland. William's passport application of 1894 says District of Columbia.^[1]

William worked as a theater manager in New York City^[2].

He died in Massachusetts in 1899.^[3] The New York Times published an obituary for him on 10 August 1899.^[4]

His daughter Annie Isabel was the executor of his will.^[5]
