DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships.
Paternal line Y-chromosome DNA test-takers:
Smith-2842 and Smith-158365 appear to represent the same person because: Thomas Smith had only one son named Thomas. Thomas Jr's birth date is disputed. He is known to have married Adah (last name unknown). He is known to be the father of Dorcas (Smith) Keller. These two records should be merged, and then the disputed birth date and his wife's maiden name can be researched further.
This Thomas Smith should be disconnected as a child of Thomas Smith and Hannah Camp. Right now, there are two Thomas Smiths listed as his son. He had only one son named Thomas, and most sources point to Smith-158365.
As an alternative, I have proposed a merger of the two
