Biography

Thomas Smith was born about 1798 and baptized at Great Hale, Lincolnshire, England on 5 August 1798 the son of Joseph Smith, shoemaker and Ann formerly Hearson [1]. He married Mary Bailey at Heckington, Lincolnshire, England on the 22 May 1821[2]. They had a family of at least 10 children born at Great Hale and Heckington between 1822 and 1848. Thomas died about 1880.
