Anthony was born 1776 in Cumberland County, Virginia. He passed away 1852 in Crawford County, Georgia, and buried in the old Smith planation cemetery with members of the family..

Hi, folks...James S, Smith and the Rev. James H. Smith are one and the same person. One side of the family has the middle initial as "S" but others

have "H"(But I think that it is "S" due to a early reference as such in Oglethorpe County).
