Biography
Settled after marriage in Morgan county, Ohio. Three children: Fergus Roberts, Mary Jane Roberts (married David Newton), and Rebecca Ann Roberts (married Jacob Woods). In the Orphans court records of Washington County,PA there is a record which states that Lydia Roberts had died prior to 1840. This record concerns the partition of her father's estate.
Lydia was born in 1793. She is the daughter of Henry Smith and Mary Best.
