SUSANNAH SMITH [daughter of Philip Smith and Mary Mathews] ... died after 27 Sept. 1804. She married John Lee, son of Philip and Sarah (Brooke) Lee, who was born in Maryland and left will 24 April 1777-19 May 1777. He resided at "Smithfield," Essex County and was clerk of Essex County court...^[1]
