Samuel married Daisy C. Banfill, daughter of Richard H. Banfill and Alice E. (--?--), on 1 Oct. 1904 at Martinez, Contra Costa Co., California.[5]
He was a drayman when he and Daisy appeared on the census of 16 April 1910 at Rail Road Ave., Byron, Contra Costa Co., California.[6] He was a drayman when he and Daisy C. Banfill appeared on the census of 26 Jan. 1920 at Contra Costa Co., California.[7] He was a mail carrier in 1930 when he and Daisy appeared on the census of 2 April 1930 at Byron, Contra Costa Co., California.[8] He appeared on the census of 5 April 1940 at Contra Costa Co., California.[9]
Samuel died on 5 March 1941 at Contra Costa Co., California[1], at age 74 and was buried at Union Cemetery, Brentwood, Contra Costa Co., California.
