Hi Cousin, Dawn! Welcome to the German Roots Project. You already have ancestors from Germany way across the pond!

I just wanted to say hello and to share that we are 23rd cousins (once removed). One of our common ancestors is Friedrich (Hohenstaufen (1122 – 1190), Emporer of the Holy Roman Empire (Wiki ID: Hohenstaufen-35), your 27th g-grandfather and my 25th.

We also share 28 more ancestors within up to 30 generations who are also monarchs of England, Hungary, Germany, France, Spain, Byzantium etc.

Beyond 30 generations there are even more interesting ancestors, who you'd likely be astonished to discover! Just wanted to share the information, and to say welcome to WikiTree.

Isn't Wikitree Fun!

Hi, Dawn. I'm new to Wikitree and don't understand exactly how things work, yet. Your edit of my Andrew Berry's wife- did you change her name from Abigail to Nancy? I'm confused.
