Biography

NOTE: I have removed Daniel Snow Jr. as his father as that Daniel Snow died in 1777 fighting General Burgoyne in the American Revolution. It remains uncertain which Daniel Snow of New England was Dorothy Ann Flint's husband (married 1778) and Tilly Snow's father. More research is needed. Chet Snow August 14, 2016.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Tilly by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Tilly:

Clearly there is confusion between 2 men named Daniel Snow in this series. The Daniel Snow who died in Oct. 1777 could not have married Dorothy Ann Flint in 1778 nor been the father of her children.

b. date shown as 18 Feb 1783 and marked as "certain", conflicts with new source showing the listed father, Daniel Snow Jr. had died by Oct 7, 1777, during the campaign to repel the invasion of Burgoyne.

Thanks.
