John Calvin Snow was born on December 17, 1880, in Athens, Gentry Co., Missouri, USA. His parents were:

Mother: Elizabeth HARSEL b: MAR 1841 in Missouri, USA

On November 29, 1900 John C. Snow married Maude Esley HAZZARD, b: 10 FEB 1883 in Missouri. They married in Gentry County, Missouri where they had a farm. The couple had 5 children:^[1]

John Calvin Snow's registration card stated that, as of September 12, 1918, he was white, married and a Railroad Section Hand (Laborer) in Gentry County, Missouri.^[2]

On July 10, 1934, John's wife, Maude Esley Hazzard Snow, passed away in Gentry Co., Missouri. She was buried in Grandview Cemetery, Albany, Gentry County, Missouri, USA. Plot: Section E, Row 22.^[3] 18 months later, on January 2, 1936, widower John Calvin Snow married Sarah Matilda McClanahan, b: 1874, widow of Perry A. Marsh, of Stanberry, Gentry Co., Missouri. They were married in Stanberry, Missouri by Rev. Nathan Orney Rogers. Each had grown children from their 1st marriages.^[4]

On December 4, 1944, John C. Snow's 2nd wife, Sarah Matilda McClanahan Marsh Snow, passed away of a heart attack at 70 years old. John and her children buried her next to her 1st husband, Perry A. Marsh, d: 1931, in the High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry, Gentry, Missouri. John survived her passing another 12 years. He died on his farm in Gentry County, Missouri, in January 1956. His children buried him next to their mother, his 1st wife, Maude Esley Hazzard Snow, in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany, Gentry County, Missouri, USA. Plot: Section E, Row 22.^[5]
