Biography

David Sowers was born on the 29th of September, 1794 to Valentine Sauer/Sowers and Anna Maria Eva (Darr) Sowers in Lexington, North Carolina, USA.[1]

David's marriage to Sally Long is recorded on 12th of February 1818.[2]

David and his family are enumerated in censuses in 1830 at Davidson, North Carolina, USA,[3] and later in 1850 at Jackson, Indiana, USA.[4]

On the 30th of March 1837, the U.S. General Land Office Records recorded a sale of property in Fountain County, Indiana to David.[5] The dated of death on his grave's headstone lists the date as the 27th of October 1859.[1]
