Clark Buchanan Sparkman was born on December 13, 1888, in Dallas, Texas, United States, son of John Henry Sparkman (1854–1935) and Nancy Willis Robinson (1854–1948). [1] [2]
Clark served as a 2LT in the US Army in the Quartermaster Corps during World War I. [3]
After his discharge Clark lived in Chicago, Illinois. [4]
Clark (35) married Veronica Elizabeth Barrett (28) (born on May 1, 1896, in Cumberland, Allegany, Maryland, United States) on August 14, 1924, in McKeesport, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, United States. They initially lived in Chicago and then to Fayette County, Kentucky before 1930. [5] The family was in Oakland, California in 1935 and moved to Pennsylvania before 1940. [6] [7]
They had two children:
Clark died on August 17, 1963, in Fort Wayne, Allen, Indiana, United States, aged 74. [8] [9] He is buried in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana. [10]
