Christopher was probably born some time between 1716 and 1726. He married on 24 Jun 1746 and was buried on 8 Jun 1787
He was a defendant on an Exchequer Bill dated 27 Jun 1754 (Christ Sparlin).
The brothers Christopher Stuffle Sparling and John Sparling each had a son named Christopher Sparling, baptised in Rathkeale in consecutive years, on 18 Dec 1762[1] and 30 Aug 1761[2] respectively. These first cousins and namesakes married the first cousins Nancy Corneille and Dora Corneille. Which Christopher married which Corneille girl is not known with certainty. Kathleen Bryant[3] describes the Christopher who married Nancy Corneille as "The murdered Christopher" (page 16) and states dogmatically that he was the son of Christopher Stuffle Sparling; she describes the Christopher who married Dora Corneille as "Christopher of Killeheen" (page 77) and states dogmatically that he was the son of John Sparling.
The murdered Christopher certainly had a wife Anne who gave evidence in court.[4] As of 2 Sep 2022, different information is given at findagrave.com[5] and in various user-donated family trees at ancestry.com.[6]
Christopher Stuffle was born about 1726. He passed away in 1787.
