John Bryant Spradley was born on 25 Nov 1818 in Camden, South Carolina to parents Bryant A (Billie) Spradley and Frances (Fannie) Payne. He married Martha Jane Smith about 1838 in Kershaw, South Carolina. Children: Malissa Lillie, Rebecca, William James, John Dillard, Martha Elizabeth, Hamilton Boykin, George David, Henry F, Emma Henrietta, Thomas Albert, Charles Benjamin. He died on 13 Mar 1890 in Camden, South Carolina.
