Martha A Spradley was born in 1818 in Camden, Kershaw, South Carolina to Bryant A Spradley and Frances (Fannie) Payne. She married Smith Summerlin on 13 Dec 1834 in Montgomery, Alabama. Children: Louisa Eliza (Ellen), Jane M, Rachel M, Columbus M, Bryant Irving (Ervin). She died in 1850 in Lowndes, Alabama.
