Biography

Birth and Baptism
Sarah, the daughter of Richard Stamp and his wife Sarah, née Kirkby, who had been married at Grayingham, Lincolnshire, on 14 June 1779,[1][2] was born at Goxhill, Lincolnshire, in 1792 and baptized at All Saints church, Goxhill, on 10 June 1792.[3][4]

Marriage
Sarah married Joseph Ellerby by banns at All Saints church, Elsham, Lincolnshire, on 6 July 1813. Sarah was described as of this Parish. Witnesses were William Rose and William Stamp.[5][6]

Children
Sarah and Joseph had children:

  1. Joseph, born at Goxhill in 1814 and baptized at All Saints church, Goxhill, on 13 January 1814.[7][8]
  2. John, born at Ulceby, Lincolnshire, in 1816 and baptized at St Nicholas' church, Ulceby, on 18 August 1816.[9][10]
  3. William, born at Ulceby in 1819 and baptized at St Nicholas' church, Ulceby, on 24 January 1819.[11][12]

The 6 June 1841 census records Sarah living at Southam Lane, Ulceby, with her husband Joseph and son John.[13]

Sarah died at Ulceby on 22 August 1871[21][22] and was buried at Ulceby on 25 August 1871.[23][24]
