Soldier Benjamin Starr served with 16th Regiment, Connecticut Militia during the American Revolution.

Benjamin Starr was born about 1737-1739. He passed away in 1775.

"He was a soldier in the army encamped near White Plains; taken with the camp fever; obtained leave of absence; started for home; d. on the way, Sept. 3, 1775."

He had a son, Benjamin, who was living in 1777 but not in 1792.

"Sept 12, 1774, died about this time three infant sons of Benjamin Starr, all at one birth." - Ridgebury records
