Stevens-16317 and Steevens-55 appear to represent the same person because: Nathaniel was the son of Nathaniel, Jr. and Sarah Curtis Smith. He married Abigail Stevens, with whom he had eleven known children: Whiting, Theron, Philinda, Asenath, Salmon, Cyrus, Beulah (my gggrandmother), Joel S, Adam Stephens, William, and Lucy Smith.
